Thai Herbal Poultice - 75%

Open to all qualified massage, reflexology and beauty therapists you will learn how to make your own healing herbal and flower poultices for pain, colds and facial rejuvenation and apply them to the cranial, face, neck, shoulder, decollate, lower legs and feet. Offer £185 regular price £740.

What will I learn & benefits?

Imagine adding the warmth of infused compresses applied to the cranial, face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, lower legs, and feet with healing herbs and flowers.

FHT and NRRI accredited ( 14 hrs CPD or CE points for other associations), the Thai Herbal Poultice CPD is a fabulous add-on to massage, reflexology, and beauty treatments, or as a standalone therapy. During the training, you will learn to make your own compresses for pain, colds, and facial rejuvenation. Clients can take the compress home for self-care, an unexpected bonus. One beneficial ingredient in the facial compress is licorice, to help reduce dark circles. Or Turmeric in the Pain poultice, which research shows helps to reduce pain.

After warming the poultices in a steamer, you will learn the positioning and skills to apply techniques like rolling, stretching, dabbing, chopping, kneading, and pressure points on reflexology points, for rebalancing the body, and the heat is nurturing and can bring about deep relaxation.

How long is the course?

As it’s online, you can work at your own pace, and take one day to make the poultices and a second day to work through the sequences. Or take longer, it’s up to you.

Do I receive a certificate?

Yes, you will receive a London School of Reflexology certificate.

Is the course insurable?

Having trained hundreds of therapists worldwide, this online course is insurable because there’s an assessment and a case study requirement. As you will have varying levels in your qualifications, please check with your insurer before enrolling to be sure they cover Thai Herbal Poultice.

Live Zoom 30 min assessment covering your practical and safety is required for FHT members, optional for others, including those who want extra support and to be able to ask questions face to face. Cost £50.

How will it attract new clients & benefit my practice?

Adding Thai Herbal Poultice to your treatment menu helps attract new clients. After you add it to your website, you’ll be visible to potential clients in your area in AI and Google searches.

Having the Thai Poultice as an add-on to upgrade your massage, facials, or reflexology as a premium experience is very popular and refreshes your treatment menu. Also, you can recommend, for example, the Pain Poultice or Facial Rejuvenation add-on and turn a 60 min treatment into 75 minutes or 90 minutes. Most importantly, after training, you’ll stand out from the competition.
